Home Comfort
21 February 2024
Zara Mae plants herself in the middle of a modern open-plan living room, hands on hips, white wrap crop top tied in a neat bow at her waist and dark blue skinny jeans hugging her legs all the way to a pair of box-fresh white trainers. A red electric guitar hangs on the wall behind her, faux-fur cushions line the beige corner sofa, and framed monochrome prints add a touch of gallery cool. Zara's dark brunette hair is glossy and poker-straight, her smile wide and magnetic, and the contrast between the casual simplicity of her outfit and the eye-catching proportions beneath it makes the room feel like it shrinks around her. Home Comfort captures that rare mix of everyday and extraordinary.
The white bow unravels and Zara draws the crop top open, the fabric sliding from her shoulders as she sinks into the sofa cushions with the drawstring still trailing from one hand. Her chest is impossible to miss, impressively proportioned and held high, catching the overhead light as the denim-clad legs stretch out toward the laminate floor. By the final frames the jeans and trainers have been shed and Zara sits barefoot on the floor with her back against the sofa, hands resting lightly against her collarbones, a small tattoo peeking at her hip, her grin as bright and unguarded as the first frame. She looks completely at home, and you cannot help wishing you lived next door.
