Red Light Lady
08 August 2024
Roxy Mendez steps into a narrow hallway bathed in rose-tinted light, the red gel glow turning the white walls behind her into a warm blush that makes her look like she just walked out of a neon dream. She wears a white strappy bralette and scarlet Adidas track leggings with crisp white side stripes, her jet-black hair hanging ruler-straight past her ribs, black lacquered nails drumming lightly against her thigh. The red light catches her green eyes and cherry-stained lips, and the inked sleeve wrapping her left arm disappears into shadow and colour like camouflage designed just for this room. Red Light Lady is a title that promises danger, and Roxy delivers it with every measured glance.
She grips the white bralette with both hands and drags it downward, the thin straps sliding from her shoulders as the pink glow washes across newly bare skin. The red leggings follow, pooled on the wooden threshold, until Roxy stands completely nude in the narrow doorway with one arm stretched to the top of the frame, her body silhouetted against the flushed light behind her. The pose is statuesque and unflinching, her weight shifted to one hip, her tattooed arm a dark lattice against the glowing wall. She looks like a woman standing at the entrance to somewhere you are not quite brave enough to follow, and that is precisely why you cannot look away.
