Stepping Out
22 March 2018
Aemelia Fox pauses halfway up an outdoor staircase, one tattooed hand gripping the white banister, bare feet planted on the warm terracotta tiles. She wears a cherry-red strappy bralette that pops against her raven-black hair and dark grey high-waisted skinny jeans that cling to every curve of her legs and backside. Her ink-decorated forearm adds an edge of rebellion to a look that is already brimming with attitude, and her striking blue-green eyes hold the camera with the cool assurance of someone who knows she is the most interesting thing in the frame. The brick risers and cream walls of the stairway create clean geometric lines that draw the eye straight to Aemelia as she lifts the hem of the bralette, flashing a taut stomach and the scarlet string of a matching thong riding above the denim waistband.
The bralette comes away and Aemelia's pert, natural breasts are bared against the sun-warmed brick, her dark hair tumbling forward as she looks down with a quiet half-smile, one hand tucked into the waistband of those impossibly tight jeans. The combination of fair, porcelain skin, jet-black waves, and red lingerie is electric, every frame punching with colour and contrast. She remains in the jeans, thumbs hooked at the fly, her slim waist and the gentle swell of her hips illuminated by soft, even daylight that picks out every detail, from the delicate shading of her tattoo to the faint blush across her chest. Stepping Out suits Aemelia perfectly: she looks like a woman walking out of one chapter and into something far more daring, and she does not glance back once.
